you'd think i could have gotten ONE good picture...

i *have* been working hard on this photography thing after all...

but, alas...

it just really wasn't in the cards....

my camera...

as great as it is...

is pretty sucky at low light indoor shots...

and the weather was just very unpredictable...

and the sometimes the opportunity was there and i just didn't have my camera....

or..

and more likely...

i had my camera...

and there was no opportunity...

kid photography is HARD work...

and it ALSO could be that being 7 months preggers...

i have less patience than normal...

yup...

pretty sure that was a major factor...

But the point of the story...

is that they had fun...

Keane and Ellis visited for 3 weeks...

the cousins got to know each other well...

Micah learned to yell at Ellis...

Ellis learned to quietly steal her goldfish...

and smack her in the face every now and then...

(don't worry, Micah taught him everything he knows about combat)

and Ayden learned what it's gonna be like with 2 little ones running around...

...

i'm so blessed to have had this time with them...

i'm thankful to our husbands that bust their butts out in the world everyday...

so we can bust our butts at home...

and Keane could come visit for 3 weeks...

it came and went SO fast...

and we got ALMOST nothing on our to-do list done...

BUT...

i remembered why..

she is my best friend...

my closest confidant...

and my FAVORITE person to laugh with...

and last, but not least...

funny that the last two posts have been about cousin love...

cousins REALLY are a special gift in the world!
