what to do when pack of wild dogs turns out to be your children...

i've never claimed to be a great cook...

heck, as most of you know...

i've never claimed to cook period...

i barely know where the kitchen is...

ok, maybe it's not THAT bad...

but i do like to give my kiddos a good breakfast...

normally something hot...

and THAT is why...

they think cereal is the COOLEST thing ever...

:)

what a tricky mommie i am..lol

so one morning...

after BEGGING me for cereal...

i gave them a bowl...

AFTER they ate their regular breakfast...

and they got to eat it in the living room..

minus the milk of course...

and i head back into the kitchen to clean up a bit...

and all the sudden it sounds like a pack of wild dogs were attacking my children...

and in perfect Shan style...

instead of immediately running to save them...

i go grab my camera...

and here's what i find...

and i LOVE this last one because it really demonstrates the "seriousness" of the situation...

the wild dogs will do anything to get cereal...

snotty noses and all...

(yucky :)

(but you gotta love Ayden cracking up in the background:)
