grand declarations... and strawberry cakes

you've heard me say...

a million times...

"i'm domestically challenged"...

welp...

after 6 months...

of really trying...

to cook more meals..

to be a stay at home mom to two kids...

(Ahdee has been home with me, aka no preschool, full time since we moved here in Jan)

and not loose my mind...

and to even have FUN doing all of this...

i've decided to graduate my status...

...

from this day forward...

i'm no longer domestically challenged...

i'm a homemaker... :)

and a darn good one if i do say so myself :)

my family is happy and healthy...

and so am i...

i make a pretty mean lasagna...

you can generally stop by any time...

and the house is not a catastrophe...

at least not MOST days...

and if it is...

oh, well...

 you just caught me on an off day...

and i'd say...

there's not much more you can ask for :)

just thought i'd share my new revelation with you... 

and 

case in point.. 

i thought i'd also share...

the strawberry cake that i made (from scratch) while my sister was here...

and YES...

it tasted as good as it looked!!! :)
