and the winner is... ok, almost..:)

a couple of weeks ago i posted about entering a photo contest...

with a picture of toilet paper...

:)

some of you really liked this :)

so the results of the contest came out last week...

they revealed the winners a few letters a day...

and on Wed 4/28 i saw that 

"p" didn't win...

and some of you were disappointed about that...

(thank you:))

but...

what i failed to mention...

is that i entered a couple of other letters too...

of course..

as i mentioned before...

i entered my pictures...

 along with thousands of other entries...

not to mention...

that the majority of these other entries..

were taken by professional photographers...

so......

 imagine my surprise...

and never ending delight...

when i saw one of my 'little ole' pictures...

posted in the "winners circle"...

:)

now it didn't win 1st place...

or even 2nd place...

but it did win 3rd place...

and i imagine...

there were a lot of other people...

that didn't win 3rd...

so i'm ELATED with 3rd :)

my winning letter was 'Z'..

3rd place...

 on the last letter of the alphabet...

meant that i had given up all hope by the time i got to the end of the "winners" post...

the last picture posted..

was my little 'z'...

so i thought i'd share..

i'm happy Laughlin bought me my camera...

(and that he believes and supports me in everything i do)

but most of all...

 i'm happy...

that despite my 3 months of picture taking as a new "hobby"...

i still entered this contest...

just goes to show..

you're never to old...

to learn new tricks! :)
