Poor showing in Sept...but cute hair!

September got away from me!  

after a long...

drawn out...

August...

Sept has come and gone in the blink if an eye!

school started..

for both Ayden and Micah...

and I get 3 whole hours a week to myself!

I've been taking a photography class this month...

pursuing my dream :)

And i'm liking the results!

I'll make a better effort to record our adventures next month.

With the start of Fall in our first "changing seasons" locale...

there should be much to explore! :)

So until then... 

thought i'd share...

Ayden's before and after for the week...

it really was like deja vu...

here's what happened last year.. 

right before her 5th birthday...

BEFORE... (my cutie 4 yr old...)

and after a fit of rage...

After:

(my spunky 5 yr old)

and although i thought the cut was super cute...

i vowed...

never to cut it again...

that is...

 until last weekend...

when she threw the same fit....

and i had the same rage...

and there were scissors close...

and even though we had just gotten back to ponytail length...

she went from this...

(cute 5 yr old)

to this...

(just in time for her 6th birthday in a couple weeks!)

but this time...

i think that i'll wait until SHE is old enough to comb thru it...

to grow it out again...

plus...

i think she's just so sassy sweet...
