before and after....

continuing in my hopeful promising future career of photography...

(hey a girl can be optimistic can't she?  :)

i took ANOTHER class last week...

this time on "post processing"...

or in other words...

what to do after the pic is taken...

there is a lot that goes into GREAT pictures...

and as i learned last week...

the post processing can really turn a good picture...

into a WOW picture...

so i've been plugging away...

post processing...

PRACTICING post processing...

it really is as artful as taking the picture itself...

so i've been lacking at my little bloggy blog...

BUT i thought i'd share an example of what i've been workin' on  :)

here is a pic i took of my cutie pie nephew...

not too shabby if i do say so myself...

then again, how can you go wrong with this cutie!

but then...

 there's the "icing on top"....

  a little boost here... 

a little shadow dodging there...

and you can create a WOW version...

now,  it's by no means perfect...

i'm still learning and really working on things like skin tone ...

i personally think he's a tad orange in this pic....

so i'll go back and figure out how to fix it..

but i'm SO excited for the challenge!

i really think this could be a good move for the future...

i never really thought of myself as going in the photography direction...

but you'd me surprised by how many mommas become photographers because they get such good practice by taking 1000's of pics of their own babies...

yup, i guess i fall right into that category! :)
